Groups with coverage through Independence Blue Cross/Keystone Health Plan East/AmeriHealth should all be receiving letters from the carrier offering identify theft protection services AT NO COST! They are offering your employees identify theft protection services through Experian at no cost. Once you receive the letter offering the service, you must (as an employer) OPT IN for the service within THIRTY DAYS of the date of the letter. BMC can handle the ‘opt in’ on your behalf. Just email us to make the request. We’ll opt you in and confirm that it’s been set up. After that, your covered employees can easily enroll at any time: they log into their IBXpress account to begin the process. If they don’t have an IBXpress account, they can set one up with a user name and password. After logging in, under the “Health and Wellness” tab, they select “Value Added Services” from the drop down menu. They can then select ProtectMyID (for adults – the subscriber/employee and adult dependents enroll individually) or FamilySecure (for children under 18 years of age. The parent activates membership and enrolls all children). Once you’ve selected ProtectMyID or FamilySecure, they will be routed to Experian’s website to begin the enrollment process. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at BMC!
